Standard Workshop Specifications
(Up to 25 individuals)
All workshops are improvisation-based with a focus on team-building and participation. The result is a training event that is interactive, innovative, and fun, helping your organization achieve a more cohesive unit and increasing your potential for success. All workshops include the following: team-building, clarity of message, creative thinking, problem solving, effective communication, taking initiative and leadership within the workplace, and building upon others’ ideas to create a more positive work environment. We can also focus completely on your area of concern.

Participants are involved in activities proven to be enjoyable and non-threatening. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own comfort level.
The length of a standard workshop can vary from 1.5 to 3 hours or can be adjusted to fit your time available/budget. It can include a break for the participants (if needed), and can be tailored to conferences as well as stand-alone seminars.
Presentational Style
(25 – 100 or more individuals)
The standard workshop is ideally meant for groups of 10 to 25 individuals but larger groups can be accommodated by changing the workshop style and adding more instructors. This show presentation format uses small groups of participants to demonstrate improvisational-based exercises for the remainder of the organization/audience. Each separate exercise allows a new group of approximately 8 to 12 individuals to illustrate the theory and practical lessons to be learned.
Everyone is encouraged to work at their own comfort level, and those who wish to simply observe can do so as an audience member.
The show-in-progress structure is an energetic, positive environment that encourages team building, communication, creative thinking and problem solving through experiencing hands-on learning techniques.
"Elysium's Improv program was fantastic! We were interested in providing development for our employees in the areas of improving confidence, presentation skills, thinking on your feet, and team building in a fun way. They did a great job of making people feel comfortable, and it was always deliberate to link back what we were learning to the corporate environment. They provided constant reinforcement of the principles that we were learning. I would highly recommend Elysium for any Improv related corporate learning! You won’t be disappointed."

Workshop/Show Accompaniment (any size group)
A show can also be added at the end of any workshop or presentation as a fun finish to your team-building day. It incorporates many of the people and events from the workshops into a format which is both entertaining and serves as a guidepost highlighting the lessons learned. Team-building concepts, risk-taking, and creativity which are essential for an entertaining improv performance, are showcased by professional improvisers. Shows are generally one-act in length, running about 45 minutes to an hour.

A musical keyboardist accompanies 3 or 4 improvisors to create this show. Using information provided before the show, the performance team personalizes the event and incorporates your company’s ideas and people into the show.

Elysium led an excellent session at our employee meeting. It was the perfect blend of fun and educational. In a follow-up survey, employees rated his session very positively, and many commented that they felt they could immediately apply what they learned to everyday work situations. They've also been asking to have Elysium back for future meetings! I recommend him highly to anyone considering one of his sessions for their employees.
